Hi

Anyone here have nippers and can suggest some good playable games ?

My son is 4, he plays all the mario stuff, is quite good for his age can actually do the first levels including 1st castle on new super mario bros....i know im a bad parent but he prefers games to tv :-)

Hes been on nemo lately, had a go of cars which i thought was rubbish, as was open season...i really cant be patching all these disneyesque roms to try them out so looking for tips on some good simple ones to play.

I promise to keep this thread updated for other parents if find a good one myself.

Thanks

Hello!

Yes, I know a few games that your son would love!

1.Yoshi's Island DS

A simple colorful game with easy platforming and adventuring

2.Super Princess Peach

A great Mario game in which the twist is to save Mario as the known "Damsel-In-Distress" Princess Peach! Loads of Fun!

3.Animal Crossing
Build your town and work at your daily job in this charming roleplay game.

4.Electroplankton
Make music using the Electroplankton!

If your lucky...:

Meteos, Mario Kart DS, and Super Mario 64 may be games he may be able to play with enjoyment and no fustration. I'll PM you if I remember anymore!

Give your kid any game that is well rated for the DS. Trust me. I got my first megadrive when I was four, and I quickly became a good gamer. Give him any game, and he'll get used to it.

Gamesphere: You have BB code disabled in your post

Maka: I'd try Dragon Quest Heroes. It's fun and simple.

LOL the Kid is 4. I don't think he would enjoy games whjich will require him to read much.
DS Lite Onyx Black
Supercard Lite
Nintendo Wii (US)
PSP (Metal Gear PO Limited Edition)

My daughter is 7 now and has been playing ds/gba since 5. Basically any kids based movie games. Mario based. Donkey kong based. If the title sounds inapropriate for kids, it probably is. If unsure check the title out at gamespot.com for info. Also if the game requires much reading, he may not be able to do it at 4 yrs old. Something to look at is the emulator called goomba for old gb/gbc games. That is where alot of games your child would like as they are sometimes easier.

Hi

I don't know... Take a look at kirby- nightmare in dreamland (gba) and kirby power paintbrush. Both kirby games are really colerful. (I think he'll like power paintbrush more then nightmare in dreamland. Hard to know...)

I asked my 12 year old daughter to name three games she would recommend for a 4 year old . . .

Mario Kart DS
Nintendogs (any)
New Super Mario Bros.

Thanks for all your reccomendations ...

Quite right Shinster, reading games are out of the question...  Ill take a look at some more of the kiddy film games , otherwise looks like ive found most of the good stuff so far...which is good to know.

Ill checkout that GBA Kirby game as well...the paintbrush game a bit hard for him it seems for now.

Cheers all
