Help, I can't play some games via my supercard lite. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help is appreciated. More specifically, I am looking for Mario vs DK 2.

First of, you're gonna need to patch the games. You'll need to do that using the patcher included in the CD that came with your Supercard Lite, or download the latest from www.supercard.cn

After patching the games, 2 files will be produced. A .dsq and a .sav. Take those files and place them anywhere in your memory card. Just make sure the .dsq and .sav files under the same name are placed in the same folders.

I have done all that, but when i try to play the games, they never load.

When patching, select options with reference to the Supercard Compatibility list.

Also, an error message or details about your problem would greatly help. Help me to help you.

When I turn on the ds and select the game. All that happens when the game is being uploaded is a the numbers keep running. I'm not sure if you get it. its hard to explain.

You say that "they keep running"? What's the total is says it will load? More than xxxx/1024?
If so, you probably renamed your ROM to .nds instead of .dsq. It should only load its header, which is around 1MB (1024KB), a bit more or a bit less, but nothing too far from it. If it's something like 16MB, check its format.
If it's not what you meant, try taking a pic of your DS with a camera or be more specific ;)

^^^ that's exactly what happens. But I am not sure how to reformat it or what do I do to get it to work. I didn't change it to a .nds. Thanks for the help everyone.

Does this happen to all NDS games you play?

It happened to me before, with Tony Hawk's AS. Don't ask me how I made it work, but I patched it several times and it worked. Maybe you should try changing the file's name to something short, only one word, and then patch it again  :?

BTW, do you have "hide extensions for known files" or something like that enabled?

We aren't talking about homebrew here, correct? You're trying to patch Mario VS DK 2?

Do you have the newest firmware, too? I'm not sure how this would make the numbers go crazy like that. (I know what you mean... I get that from some homebrew. All the numbers go through, then you get a K at the end and numbers to the left of it... yeah I've been there)

Also, are you sure you're using the SCL patcher and not the SCL Rumble patcher?

This only happens for some games. I am completely confused about what to do. How do I upgrade the firmware? Thanks again for the help guys. Keep it coming.
