Is it possible to downgrade the Supercard MiniSD from 1.70 or 1.63 to an older version like 1.54?

OK. that answers from 1.70 down and up again.

What about from 1.63 down? Is it still the same?

You have to downgrade to a .bin release. This is because the .scu upgrades only contain part of the file.

Imagine it like this.

I have 3 files, create_sandwich.bin, add_ham.scu, remove_ham.scu
So, I run sandwich.bin which creates the sandwich, then I run remove_ham.scu. Uh oh, there was no ham there...
Then I run add_ham.scu, but wait, there's already something in the place we want to put it.
Then your SuperCard bricks/breaks/throws errors etc.
