Hi,

I've got a DSphat and a SuperCard SD. Everything was going fine till I upgraded to 1.70

I upgraded on the day of release (I see there was a bugged version now) and didn't try any games till yesterady.

Now when I look - my games menu is empty - and I've got a 512Mb cart full of roms.

I've reformatted the SD and copied the games back - but still nothing.

I want to try flashing to the newer 1.70 but cause I don't see the files on my SC I can't :(

What are my options? Could I have got the wrong firmware (CF rather than SD) - I don't think I did..........

I booted holding L&R to run the tests and I get:

Test SRAM
SRAM ok!

Test sdram
sdram ok!

Test flash
flash id ok!
flash ok!

Test SD/MMC
SD/MMC ok!
not find test file             <---- Hmmmm

Now SC Version:1.70

Any ideas/clues/flames?

That 'not find test file' happens for everyone, you are supposed to have some file in your memory card that is used for testing. For what I remember, that is not necessary. Your data means that your card is fully working, I think that your SuperKey stopped working and you are in the GBA mode or something similar.

Ok - its good to know everyone gets the test file missing message :)

GBA Mode? How do I get it out of that....?

Is your DS flashed or do you have a SuperKey or some other PassMe device?

nicebloke

I first flashed my DS over a year ago. I do have a PassMe in a box somewhere :)

I just have the Metroid Demo in the top slot and my SC in the bottom slot.

I just booted holding down SELECT (which is GBA mode - I think) and I see the GBA logo and then an empty menu.

Are there any other key combos I can try?

I am a fuckwit!!

I'm not sure when/how/why it happened, but my SD card was formatted FAT32 - I could kick myself

One quick format later and everything is fine again.

Thanks pte for trying to help me anyway.
