Exit from MoonShell on a SCLR? (MS reset for SC won't work)

Hi,

I got the file 'moonshell reset for supercard.nds' from someplace I don't remember and it's supposed to let SC users running it from within MoonShell exit from it back to the SC menu. /edit: I got it from here (the 'MoonShell for SuperCard Lite (patched with romman's MoonShell patcher) (moonshell reset included)' URL).

I'm using MoonShell 1.41 (the one from the URL above)on a SC Lite Rumble with 1.70FW and running 'moonshell reset for supercard.nds' from MoonShell doesn't work. It gives some text in the MoonShell console, hangs for a while and then shows 2 white screens and nothing happens..

Is anything known about where 'moonshell reset for supercard.nds' comes from and if it'll be updated? I think I read somewhere Romman (the SC lead developer or something?) coded it.

My main concern is finding a method to exit from MoonShell without having to power down my DS Lite, so if anyone can help me on that it'd be much appreciated.  :)

The same thing happens to mine on my sclite as well (first version without the case sticking fix). I do not know if there will be a fix as it was just an "extra" romman put out. I have only tried it a couple of times cause mostly I am just used to turning off and on, which seems to be faster anyways with my daughters supercard SD.

Here is a good question, anyone getting it to work with the sclite and which model do you have if it does?

(Note: Funny that M3 wiki site and the guy who made it, firon, swiped my tutorial without giving credit but uses all the scdevs links etc...)

Heh, yeah now that you mention it, the links point to scdev, it's just a copy of a thread here

Maybe I should contact the MoonShell author to implement a feature to return to the menu. Lick's Libcartreset will enable that just fine I think. Or maybe Lick himzelf can make an .nds that'll do the same as 'moonshell reset for supercard.nds', but work :)

The reason I don't want to power down/up is that it's inconvenient and I think costs unnecessary power used to boot the DS.
