I have a supercard CF, superkey, and DS lite, and...
I tried converting my super mario 64 nds file through my supercard program but it says access violation.
What does this mean?

I think the problem is that I'm using version 2.51, so I downloaded the new version, 2.7, but I don't know how to update my supercard program?

Btw, I've searched on different websites to find an answer but haven't found one so excuse me for this simple question.

Lastly, I need some clarification on playing DS games. How do u save them? I thought once your done playing, u just restart to the menu and backup save it, but I heard that isn't how u do it??

Any help is much appreciated.

Gleasonator

All DS games save automatically.

As for the software, there is no 2.7. The latest is 2.57. The latest FIRMWARE is 1.7. They are both in this RAR file: http://eng.supercard.cn/download/setupnewV257en.rar <You need WinRAR or 7-z to open this if you don't know. You just need to open the .exe and install it. O.o Or did you not know how to install the firmware? To install the firmware just open the .bin in the SC menu.

(This should go in the Help and Tips board by the way. I'm sure it's no problem, just for future reference.)

OK, so I downloaded the new firmware and it converted some games fine but then when I went to play them on my DS, it just showed two white screems. This is probably the most common problem I have, can anyone tell me a universal solution to solve this problem?

HurricaneGame

Update your supercard firmware. ( boot the update.scu or update.bin on ur supercard ). Then play games.

ATACK OF THE CAT!

A MUST SEE!!!!!

OK I put the newest supercard firmware which is 1.63, I think, and I still get white screens!!! What the hell is wrong? Btw the games that always show white screens are  FF3, New Super mario bros., Super Mario 64, Star fox command, and Yoshi's Island. I've used the newest SC program and the newest SC firmware, what else could I try?

are you using clean roms?

emblem4ever

What do u mean? If you mean r they good roms, I'm assuming there are because I've downloaded them all from the same website and some roms work but others like the ones listed above just make white screens....

onekelly

I will pm you with an "idea". you may want to try another site for the same rom.

Also, is your card formatted to FAT (FAT16)?

emblem4ever

No to FAT32, oh shit maybe thats the problem, also whats pm? lol, i see it all the time but i don't know what it means...my e-mail is tylerm53@hotmail.com

emblem4ever

LOL, nevermind, I just got it, I'll try it out and post if thers a problem, thanks a lot.

Shinster

Your media card needs to be formatted to FAT (Not FAT32)
DS Lite Onyx Black
Supercard Lite
Nintendo Wii (US)
PSP (Metal Gear PO Limited Edition)

emblem4ever

OK, so I formatted my CF card to FAT, downloaded different roms from different websites thinking they would yield different results, but again still the stupid white screens!! Btw, when I process my roms through the supercard program I'm clicking on every option, except "compress" because on my program its blacked and I can't choose it.

Zygarth

Rightclick the rom in your supercard patcher, the options in the tab are for gba games.

OK thanks, whats Saver Patch and Rom Position Patch, and do I choose DS card or CF card? Also, whats DMA mode, iQue Game, GBA Union, and Patch Carttridge access?

For the roms that wouldn't work, I chose CF Card. CF card, Enable Restart, Trim rom, Faster game play, and patch cartridge access.
