If anybody knows anything about the FTA scene can you send me a pm with some info.

I found a couple sites to buy the hardware and a site with firmware, bin files, a forum, etc.

However before I get too far into it I would like to know if anyone here has any comments about if its worth the hassle or not.

Well you can hit the Dish sats with em so I would say they are worth it. I use a regular dish reciever with a plastic 102 card. With FTA you can also hit Bell Express Vue from Canada and get the NFL ticket they offer there (just like the one on DirectTV). I will send you a pm where I hang out for this type of thing.
