I wonder....hmmm

At 2/4 briteness, full blast sound on earphone, some WiFi usage, my DS can last me about 5.5 hours continously.

I wonder if using an orginal game card, the battery life will shoot up a lot? Say 10 hours (since the DS webby claimed 5-17 hours)?

I heard if you remove NoPass on boot, the batt live will increase by few more hours....how true is that?

When I did it removing the NoPass didnt make that much of a difference.

To get 17 hours, I reckon you'll need to turn off the back light, no sound, no wi-fi and have a game that on a screen where no-loading or anything happens....

Also did a DS-X test a while back but cant remeber where or if I posted it or not...from what I remeber it was pretty much the same as all the other flash carts.

also that figure includes gba games.


so a simple non cpu/mem taxing gba rom played on the lowest light setting would play for quite a while on ds-lite 1600mah battery.

1600mah battery? I thought the DS Lite had a 1000mah battery.. in fact that's why I ordered a 1600mah one the other day, which I have yet to receive.

It does the ds lite has a 1000mah battery and the ds phat has a 850mah

u can off backlite, off sound, no rumble, no Wifi.....but its no longer fun...

I would rather sacrifice a few hours of game play with an average backlite and full blast music and WiFi multiplay.
