I am thinking about getting the Rumble as a Christmas gift for a friend.

I have the Supercard Lite and was wondering if the NDS compatibility for the Rumble is the same as it is for the Lite? I know GBA games are not playable on the Rumble... but I want to make sure that it plays all (or atleast 99.9%) of all the NDS games just lke the Lite does.

Thanks all.

i dont know about the lite rumble but the SD rumble plays everything my SCCF did (so far)

I would assume it plays all the same games as it is still using the supercard patcher software, except it wont play gba games (but IMO, the gba support stinks on the SC anyways).

Yeah, DS compatibility is the exact same as the SC Lite on the SC Lite Rumble. It's a good piece of equipment as well, I first had a G6, then a DS-X, and I'm now most happy with my SCLR/1GB MicroSD :)

The scrumble lite is a pretty good peice. It supports like 99.99% of the nds games. I'm very happy with it. I sacrificed the GBA support for 20$less which is pretty good since i don't play gba anyways. If i wanted to, i'd buy them for like 5$ a cart. The rumble makes a weird noise though.

Is this weird nose noticeable if you do not use the rumble feature? Also... how is the fit? Is it the same as the first bunch of SC Lites that were extremely tight fitting?

No, it won't rumble unless you tell it to when patching. My SCLR fits a little bit tight when it's almost in, and is apart from maybe half a millimeter flush. The good thing is you don't really have to move it in and out every time since you can easily get the MicroSD in and out :)
