I was thinking about getting a second supercard (like miniSD.. how much do those supercards run?) and a cheap GBA (with light) someday for anything pre-DS.

Can they play GB and GBC games? Can they do color with GB games just like a gameboy color would?

GBA flashcards and DS flashcards that can play GBA can only play GB(C) using Goomba or Goomba Color. For proper GBA support however I'd go for another 'true' GBA flashcard. Dunno which of those is the best though.

Hi

I have a similar question, can the supercard rumble play gbc and gb games? (I know it has no gba support, but no one said any thing about gbc and gb support.) It should be able to play them. The gba movie player can. (using a special version of goomba that not many people know about)

Well, the only way I know to be able to play GB(C) ROMs is Goomba (Color). And that needs a flashcard able to play GBA ROMs. I also read the SCLR or M3LPro, or even both, CAN play GBA ROMs that are very small. If you compile a Goomba .gba with say 1 GB ROM in it, it may run on the SCLR.

If there's no way to run .gba from SCLR, then GB(C) is a no-go, unless someone writes a GB(C) emulator for the DS.

yes

yea but they don't connect to gameboys do they?  its like an emulator right?

Hi

Goomba color doesn't really work well. If gbc/gb games are important to you you need 4 things.

1. a gba flash cart that is compatible with the gb-bridge adapter

2. a gb-bridge adapter

3. a gba flash cart reader/writer.

4. a gba
