How much difference is there between the sclite and the scsd? Would I be able to flash my scsd with the sclite firmware? Or would it just brick my scsd?

You want to use the correct firmware for each. No big deal, just get the correct one from this site or supercards. There is no reason to try it, when it is readily available. Also, the sclite and scsd use different patching software for the games. BUT, you can use your .sav files from one to the other.

the .sav is quite universal, i guess even u flash it to a game cart it will work as well. Just wondering if the .sav will work for both US and Eur games.

Devil_Spawn

why would you want to put sclite firmware on an scsd?

the differences are hardware only, the sclite is smaller, and runs some games better than the scsd does

Cygig, I have found that .sav only work for both US and Euro games only once in a while. If you are looking for .sav Check out the Dualscene save game archive. You can use this to replace a .sav that you have finished or whatever, so you do not have to start over.
