Quote from: "sonicwind"I still think we need to recognize the guy keeping this site up so we can all help eachother.  Yet no one seems to care.
Yes, we should all be thankful to Socket, DeVS, and NTolerance for making this all possible.  Also, the mods sneef and ratx do much more than people realize in the forums and behind the scenes.  Special thanks to our current and future Supercard Guru's.

Aww, thanks... I really don't have much time to spend anymore (really really crushed at my job all the time lately - actually should change VERY soon... I can't wait) so I REALLY REALLY appreciate the help some of the great folks here offer.  I'm working on some MAJOR updates to the site at the same time as keeping it really simple and easy to navigate and read... As of now, I think I'll donate one $5 raffle ticket to onekelly.  It's well deserved.  Keep this discussion going to get some of your favorite helpers a free entry!!!  :)

onekelly

Socket, thank you for the donation! Also thank you for your work on scdev!

I vote for Onekelly. Dude, thanks for all the help and tips you gave me back when I was a noob.  :D

kyus

DeVS gets my vote.

He's helped me get things to the UK, and he spends alot of time and effort on the forums, not to mention the excellence of his posts.

Slashdot use a rating system that reports on the quality of the post (users can vote) - maybe that way a potential sponsor like me could get money to the most helpful members - I really would like to find a way of effectively giving something back to the people who help the scene flourish.
At the moment, they are unpaid first line support and so are helping all the resellers sell more effectively.  Many resellers do not put any help or info on their sites, just point to forums like these.  This creates work for the most helpful members.
Regards
Chris

Hi

I'm definetly not as helpful as onekelly or bitbit, but I'd like to point out I thoughtly enjoy helping people when I do. To be honest, I do it more for me than them... It's gives a good feeling. When somone has a problem I know how to solve I'm actually happy to see (if) no one's replied.

I would like to say that Sneef definately gets a vote.

DeVS, sneef, onekelly, madigral, and many more who have slipped my mind in the last year and a half.  I like the people who are helpful and not rude.

I hope that I have helped a few people over the last year and a half also.  I only would try to help if I knew an answer and know one else replied before me, since I am a jack of the trade, but far from a master.

Thanks for the help guys!  : )
