Can't get this to work. I've enabled GBA union option when patching the nds rom, renamed the gba rom to match the nds rom. and put them in the same directory on the microSD.

I'm supposed to get a "rare ring" on my inventory at the start but I dont think the union worked.

Any help?

I never got it to work, either. Don't worry though - you can find the 'Rare Ring' in the game, and having it from the start would rather spoil the adventure anyway.

Yup. I never got it to work either. But still, as Mota says, don't worry. You'll get the Rare Ring pretty soon. Besides, it only increases rare items drops. You'll be upgrading your weapons with souls most of the time, and for accesories/armor you'll be using Dracula's Tunic, Souleater Ring, etc...

The strange thing is I beat Portrait of Ruin before I decided to play Dawn of Sorrow lol

Well, personally I think it would be an overpowered item to start the game with... practically a cheat. The 'other' location (which I won't spoil) is far more appropriate.

Besides, you can't 100% the game in one run, so you'll start with the ring second time around

You can, but you won't have the best upgraded weapons. You get Gergoth's soul just once, but it's needed for both axes and long swords upgrades, for example.

Well OK, you can get the game counter up to 100% in one run, but as far as I'm concerned the game isn't over until you've got those weapons
