Okay first off sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I just read that RHS no longer has Super Card CF's, and my SC CF broke. So now I have a useless CF card, and I now have to buy another version of the SC and possibly an SD/MINISD etc card.

So I have a Super Key currently, so all I need is the new SC/memory card. What do you think would be my best bet in my situation? (If it matters I am buying from RealHotstuff.com they have excellent service)

Zygarth

SCLite or SClite Rumble. The SD and miniSD are getting some speed issues.

SuperCard DS is being released soon, and there are plenty of other good Slot-1 solutions that are very cheap.
You may want to think about one of those.

Well I only have a regular DS and MIGHT be getting one for christmas.

What are the speed issues with the SD/MiniSD? I use these almost entirely for DS games, if the speed problems are only with the GBA games that's fine.

Not much, really. Only Castlevania Portrait of Ruin is not working under the miniSD/SD format SC, AFAIK. There are a couple other games that don't work at all, like Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, but those don't work for the whole SC family, not only for SD based.
I don't know what's the good thing about SuperCard DS. Both it and SCLite use microSD cards, the latest has a compatibility of ~%95... Unless the price for the slot1 cart is incredibly lower than for the SCLite, I don't know why you should get it if you can buy the other.

Well I guess I'm going to go ahead with the SD, only problem is the only SD card I have is 128 MB and some DS games go as far as 130 MB. (I believe FF III was that size) Oh well I'll probably have to play one game at a time!

I'd suggest looking elsewhere for another Supercard CF rather than switching to SD. They may be bulky, but they get the job done better than SD/MiniSD models... Either that or go for a Slot-1 solution such as DS-Link, or wait a little while for the sudden rush of other slot-1 devices.

Well it's a christmas present for me, so I can only do as much as my mother can. I would tell her to use the market place here, but she's the kind of person who only goes through the "official" sites and whatever.

I suggest people have a look at the new slot 1 Supercard DS.

Oh I know, that is where I got my SC CF, I was referring to the "get it from elsewhere" comment :D *sigh* so how do the slot 1's work? Just insert it into the DS slot (if that is slot 1, sorry for my lack of knowledge) and insert a microSD card into the supercard DS?

Yes, slot 1 refers to the DS Slot. All you need to do is drag and drop some clean roms onto a micro SD card, and insert it into the SC DS. Thats pretty much it.
