Problem patching some games

Well, I'm having some loading issues with a couple games.

The first one, which buggers me the most, is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team (I envy japanese people... "Fushigi no Dungeon Blue"). I have been playing it today, till I decided to use the EU version instead, as my friend is playing Red version with spanish text. I patched it like I did with the US version and now, whenever I try to load it, it starts preloading more than 14MB, instead of the usual less than 1MB header for DS. It happens with both EU and US versions now, with both 2.57 and 2.56 patchers, but not with any other game  :|

The second one that gives me trouble is Pokémon Emerald. I'm trying to import a .sav from VBA using the internal SC patcher option, but it doesn't recognize it. At least, it doesn't seem to work. It gives me the internal battery run dry messege and then it prompts me to start a new game. Tried it with both patchers again, changing to 128KB flash and 64KB flash save type from VBA and still there's no way.
The thing is, I've already done this before, and the .sav is fine, as it goes as smooth as silk in VBA :S

Thanks in advance.

Just for the record: I almost broke my SC today. I inserted a miniSD card when I heard this weird "clank" inside. After that, the card didn't kept the miniSD inside, as if the "spring" inside was broken. I opened it up, and saw this tiny piece of metal that was on top of the lock in the miniSD slot. I pushed it down a bit and now it keeps the miniSD inside again, yay for me! :D
Has anyone encountered/solved this problem before? I'm afraid I might have broken it for real, and I don't want to spend more money on SuperCards... this is the second one I buy this month T-T

BUMP.
Oh, pretty please with sugar on top, help me with my Emerald problem :(
I discovered that, by the power of Fate, if I erase the ".nds" part of the ".nds.dsq" file format from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, it doesn't work. I did not erase it the last time I patched the game, so now it works. Weird. But I still have problems with Emerald and imported saves. Does anyone know if there's an specific format that works with SC when I export the battery file with VBA?
Thanks in advance.
