I´want to purchase a Supercard but...there is one thing that troubles me.... : I read that the Supercard can kill your CF! Is it true? It´s said that when your operating the Supercard on low GBA Power (Or saving) your CF can die! I recently bought a Kingston Elite Pro 1Gb. and dont want to harm it (For my GBA Movie Player.Yeah, I know Supercard plays movies too but first: Firmware for playing media is better and second  Batterypower lasts much longer viewing movies with my GBAMP than it would do with SC,right?). Another question: The SC doesnt support Clocksave but i could save games like Pokemon or Harvest Moon with Realtime-Save? Eneabling me to restore the moment of my Save every time? Anyway, please tell me if this rumor/fact is true about damaging the CF.
Any help is welcome!

Nobody here has had problems with low batteries damaging a CF card.  I remember skimming over a post at www.supercard.cn about that, but I don't remember exactly was said.  I haven't seen any concrete evidence of this happening.

I've always been in the habit of saving my game and turning off my GBA/DS when the light turns red.  I would think this should prevent any problems which may or may not exist.

I don't know about your realtime clock question but hopefully somebody else does.

Thanks for your quick reply! You are right! I read the Post at the "Forum" of Supercard.Romman did answer nearly all questions but this one about damaged CF´s....he didnt reply *sceptical*

I´am actually pending between a EZ II Powerstar and the Supercard. In the end all Flash Linkers aren´t that perfect but facts are drawing me to take the EZII because i am already owning a MoviePlayer.....but i have a Kingston 1 GB CF Card i could use in the Supercard too......Gnnnnn It s driving me mad.

What Flashlinker would you suggest me? I would like to have a FL that supports all saving methods (EASY Saving and NO LOST SAVES). I know the Supercard can save anytime anywhere in a game but...you know...that thing with Battery/Powerlasting only 5 Hours etc. etc.)

Excuse my gramm. : I´am from Germany  :D

PharaohAmps actually got like 8 hours of battery life on his SP with the Supercard.  Not bad at all.

If you want a regular flashcart I'd recommend an EZ2 Powerstar.  I've got an EZ1 and it works great.  No patching is necessary so saving games is never a problem.  I believe the EZ2 PS also has a realtime clock so you can play games that use that as well.
