Does anyone know if japanese controllers(Wiimote, Nunchuck, Classic etc.) would work on a PAL(UK) Wii?

Can't say for 100% but im 99% sure,lol. They are just bluetooth devices so I can't see why they wouldn't.

Word on the street is that December 18th all retailers are getting fresh stocks on Wii stuff, including controllers.  Might want to check that out.

Meh, well, Play-Asia was like the cheapest I could find with actual stock.
The Wii-mote here(Out of Stock everywhere) is £29.99(Converted to $58.82), Play-Asia(In Stock) is £25.59(US price - $49.90).
Also, I found a discount coupon for Play-Asia on google somewhere.

Damn is that ONLY for the Wiimote or does it include the nunchuck too? The Wiimote here is only $30, and $20 for the nunchuck.

Actually, when you hook different region Wiimotes to the computer, there's three different internal names that they use.... so it's a possibility the Wii only listens for one.

Meaning, American, Japanese, and one other (European maybe?) Wiimotes have different internal names, meaning you may not be able to use a Japanese Wiimote on an American system. No one's tried as far as I know, so it may work, or it may not.
