got the component cables, and wow.. it really makes a difference to see the games in 480p on a samsung hdtv!

too bad they aren't in 720p!  

get the cables if your TV supports it!  i ordered some cheap 3rd party ones.  they have them on play-asia.com for 10 dollars.  ebay has them too, but they go for around 20 after shipping..

I'd love to do this, but I no longer have access to the HDTV in our household. I'm sure they do make quite a difference though. I remember playing my gamecube games in 480p and I couldn't stop drooling.

regarding gamecube:  do most games work in 480p?  wondering if i should get the gamecube component cable (i know i can play cube games on wii, but i have lots of backups which will play only on my cube)

Im glad that they make a difference as i jsut ordered them off nintendo.com and recieved them today!
