Syngamer, I think the mp3 player is moonshell, but not 100% sure.

Thats fine, it just looked like it was built in from the screens...though those could have been screens of the M3 slot 1 solution, who knows

I agree, as long as it works. It also appears to be built in as well. There is no reason they could not use moonshell code in background to run mp3's. Now we just need some official-ish reviews, to set us all straight!

you can clearly see from the screens that it is some form of moonshell i am like 99% sure of it, teh details looks identical etc. maybe they just built a rom-loading plugin, added a gui, then thats ur firmware. it also plays dpgs, which is atleast partly moonshell

It won't eject from my DS sometimes, i have to keep trying.. and most of the time, my DS shows nothing in SLOT-1.  maybe 1 in 8 times it sees the supercard DS, and then it shows "no SD card".

I just got my SCDS today and I'm not having problems with ejecting or "no SD card" like sneef described. I tested with four different DS's, two DS Lite and two DS phat, with no problems. I have not had a chance to experiment with Opera_patched yet.  I will post more information later this evening.

yeah.  i'm never ordering from hopebuy again.  last time i did, i got a faulty product too, and it is a b@#$h to return things to china by registered mail.  should have ordered from RHS, so I could get a quick simple exchange.  mine is definitely faulty, so don't base any opinions on my comments.

I didn't get to read all the posts, but does it uses less power then using slot-2?? I have Supercard Lite

Please get back to us as soon as possible once you have tested the browser.  I'm hoping we can use our SC SD's as extra RAM  If it works, i'll pay the $50 for the SD DS instantly (plus other features it provides).
