M3 + SNES = Huh?

According to M3, their carts have built-in SNES emulators. Proof?

Quote from: "http://www.m3adapter.com/faq.htm"Since M3 Adapter has already been built-in emulator function, it can run these Emulator Games directly. For instance: FC, NES, SNES, GB, GBC, PCE, SEGA-MS & GG etc. It's very convenient to the user. For instance, it has function of running Emulator Games, and it is equal to have many game consoles and games with different popular styles in the past.

So... firstly, does this even work? Then if it does how do you use the Y and X buttons (referring to the original controller)? Or do you use a button combination? Or if you have a flashed DS, will it use all four buttons? Finally, does it run all SNES formats, and how do you manage save files? (When saving with SNES, you get a few files that are related to saves. I'm not sure if M3 sees all these or what)

Bastards... I emailed them and got no reply. Anyone with an M3 feeling nice today? :D

All built in emulators are complete crap from what i have heard.  No way M3 could come up with a better one than the people already coding for it.

Nah, I own M3 units...SNES emulators will play just as cruddy as it does on any other card. BUT, it does have perfect GBA playback....and many of those titles are SNES ports/upgrades...so I think that more than makes up for it.

So what's the deal with the X and Y buttons? Supported formats? Sorry, I looked all through M3's site and all it said was "SNES support".

I know, they are very vague with this. I do not even think that any emulators are "built in"...although I could be wrong. I never use built in emulators on any of these cards, because they are always outdated (ie: SC built in emulators). If you are up to speed with the latest emulator developments, you will know that SNES emulation on the NDS is weak to say the least....as is Megadrive emulation. NES emulation is excellent, but for just about everything else you would want to go with the GBA emulators from Flubba (gg, sms, msx, colecovision, gb). Those GBA emulators are now (for me) an absolute reason to have GBA support.
