I see the Square-Enix logo then, Black-out  T_T

I heard people saying they could play with the emulator, and I even saw screenshot of the ingame.

Can't go ask on the official forum of the emulator because the registering program is buggy and always say your E-mail have been banned by an administrator  :x

Shinster

Is that a PS2 emulator?

There is no fully working PS2 emulator AFAIK

Do you mean PCSX2? There site is here: http://www.pcsx2.net/index.php Did you try getting video plugins and making sure you have the PS2 bios? Shinster the PCSX2 does have some PS2 games that are playable and play nicely too.

Many games work in PCSX2 with the latest release. Haven't toyed around with it too much myself because I know my PC is too slow to play most games full speed. It's especially silly to bother since I have a modded PS2 ^_^

Reading your comments, it doesn't seem you read mine T_T

I know the website, but the forums is buggy <_<  Can't register

The game is playable, but I think I need a patch or a special configuration, which I'm looking for since yesterday =(

None of your answer were of a great help
Though, thanks anyway, but next time, read my post before answering >_<

I specified that the game CAN work and that I passed the Sqaure-enix logo, meaning I have a bios and all that stuff.

I did read your post and thats why A: I asked if you meant PCSX2 since their is no PS2 emu called EPCSX2 and B: I asked if you went to that site I linked to since you made no mention of PCSX2 and on that site is a Guide to getting the emu running thats not in the forums. Also if you had been to the forums of the site I linked to you must not know how to use them. I did a Dragon Quest search in their forums without even signing up and found the answer to your question. But hey, good luck with that.

Yeah me too I have a modded PS2. And it is cheaper too compared to the specs you need on a PC to actually have playable PS2 ISO's.

i tried PCSX2 after reading up on it, and i have a better computer than some of the forum members there who reported getting 30-40fps on FFXII. i configure my settings to lowest just in case and pop FFXII into my DVD drivel bios start up, game starts up and i get <20 framerate, no idea why.

i guessi just have to turn around and use my ps2? :(

Sure those people you're comparing to don't have a dual core processer? And if you have one, are you sure you have the option enabled for it? Dual core processors seem to make a huge difference for PS2 emulation.

I have a dualcore processor and i'm using the VM version with the SSE2 GPU plugin. I've also download the AMD dualcore optimization patch.
