I would love to make games for the DS!! :D  But what can i use to make them?? What is the easiest program to use but still does a great job?

I need something that's easy to use and can make sports,FPS,and RPG games. Oh and needs to be free too.

I know this could be a little difficult but i have no programming expirence..

Thank you

I would like to know something along these lines too... I'd be happy to use C++ (I'd have to learn it first, though. :D I'm pretty comfortable with ActionScript so C++ should come easier than just opening a book with no programming expierience at all) but I have no idea how the Hell to export it as something the DS will understand.

Any help with this, either?

michaelarth, try some programming first. I reccomend "Flash Game Programming For Dummies". :) Easy ActionScript stuff. Otherwise, read this: http://scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6103 then this: http://scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6285&start=0

A new version is coming, so wait before you download.

This place got me started making a few dinky little games. Because it's so simple compared to everything else on the market now, the DS is really easy to code for.

Do keep on mind, though, that this IS real programming, so you'll need to learn C++. If you want to learn C++, though, this is a fun way to try it.
