When I patched  my Animal Crossing WW, through the 2.57 patcher, it made Animal Crossing WW DSI file and nothing else?? All my other roms came out with a DSQ and SAV files, but Animal Crossing WW only yields a DSI?? And it doesn't load like my other games on my NDS lite. Any answers on this. Thanks.

(Btw I'm using a supercard CF if it makes a difference)

DSI? Never heard of that one, try using other settings when patching AC.

DSI is an NDS rom patched to run from supercard's ram, rather than off the removable media.

It works very well for games like animal crossing, with no slowdown.  but the games must be 256Mb or less.

check the "rom position" setting when you are patching.. it may be set to supercard instead of CF

If you did the rom position: supercard in order to fix compatibility with ACWW, it's no longer necessary with newer SC firmwares.

ok, so I made a DSQ file that just turns white, and then black after. While my DSI file takes forever to load, then it loads fine but at the Animal Crossing menu, "unable to retrieve data, please re-insert card"? So what format is best to use and what's my problem?

that's untrue.  if you have slower media, it is still better to use supercard position for AC:WW.  with the micro, it doesn't really matter as much, but it's still better if your SD/CF/MiniSD is not very fast.

same thing happened to me
just redo the thing and it should work again
3 NDS, 1DSlite
supercard Lite 1Gb MicroSD
Supercard CF
