With all the hub bub with the Wrist Straps i wonder why there is no 3rd party Wrist Straps.  My 5 year old broke two staps this week and until i get the replacement ones, i am not letting anyone us the wii.  (i don't want to brake my $2000 tv).

Some come with the "glove" covers for the Wiimote and they are stronger then the stock ones, but are also shorter and don't have the plastic thingy to make it cinch up on the wrist.

I bought the "gloves' and my kids broke one of those also.

Dude. Just wait. :) I'm hanging on to my wrist strap... (I ordered one of the new ones and it shipped)

Some kid that's five now will grow up to be fifteen and obsessed with Nintendo, and I'm going to sell this wrist strap on eBay and mark it as the wrist strap that Nintendo recalled over 200,000 systems for and his mom is going to pay me $500 for it and give it to him as a Chrismas present. :) Or maybe I can at least get $50.

How the heck is the 5 year old breaking the straps? Honestly, I wouldn't let my children (if I had any) play the system if they were getting so energetic/mad that they were throwing the controllers around and snapping the straps left and right.

She's not going to be playing it anymore .   She just gets excited that she let's go of the remote and the strap brakes.  Thank god she has missed the tv both times.
