Are they different file types or can I use one on the other?


You see I had a Super Card CF, and it broke, and since it was discontinued, I had to get a SC SD. So I wanted to know if I can just copy my patched files from my SC CF and just paste them on the SC SD, will it still work?

Only the save files are transferable.  You will need to patch your clean ROMs using the SCSD patcher software.
