Does anyone use any of the SE Plugins?  I'm interested in useful ones that can be installed on the memory stick and do not write to the flash.

Not me. Was going to use the usb one that lets u run isos off a pc through usb, but it requires the flash plugin which I didn't want to mess with. Other then that I don't know of any truely useful ones.

The only useful one I could find was a detailed battery status plugin, but it appears to cause problems with sleep mode.  The whole plugin thing seems really hackish at the moment.

I use Custom Firmware Extender. It includes a resident FTP server that is up when you're in the XMB, the ability to reset in-game which works about 60% of the time, and some other stuff. About 120K of PRX files that you don't flash.
