Hi, i have the new SC DS(one) and i was just wondering how do you save in it? If i complete one level (eg:1-1) does it automatically save or is there a manual save function.

You must save in order to keep your progress. The thing is, it only allows you to save when you beat a castle (either the lesser ones or the big ones) or use stars to open paths.
Once you beat the game, you may pause it and save manually, whenever you want.
