Well, my M3 Simply hasn't come in the mail yet... but I did get my A-data microSD. I am not very computer savvy... so I need all the help you people can provide me =). I recently downloaded this torrent "NDS Roms 001-700" and as most of you prolly know, or dont know.. it comes in like 435 RAR files of various games. My questions are...

1)how exactly do I add games onto my microSD?
2)i noticed the games (though I haven't checked all of em) dont have a .sav file... should I be worried?
3)what exactly should I have on my microSD for a game to run... M3 Simply firmware?

1) Just drag and drop them. I'm not sure if M3 reads compressed files, so you may have to uncompress them first.

2) If I remember right, if there is no save file on the card, the M3 just makes one for you. Even if I'm wrong, though, there's no reason to be worried. Save files aren't picky... you could even use a save file from another game and it would work fine.

3) It should run with nothing on the card, but I think that for all the features to work you need to have certain folders on it... I saw a YouTube of a guy playing with one, but I don't remember exactly what you need. If you run it with nothing on the card, though, and you DO need something, I would expect a message to pop up telling you what you should add/change like on other M3 devices.

new problem now.... for some reason... when I click Safely Remove Hardware after dragging all my games I want to my microSD. For some reason, after picking the microSD from the list, to safely remove... all of a sudden "My Computer" cannot recognize any of my G-J drives. WTF? Can anyone tell me how to fix this, other than rebooting..

try going to my computer and right click the drive that has your micro sd card and look for eject or disconnect, and try that instead.

Mike is right.

Those multi-card readers enumerate as multiple drives in XP. They're nice, but don't work the same way as a single reader. Just "eject" on the drive letter itself, not on the "safely remove hardware".

So do this - unplug the reader's USB cord, wait a few seconds, plug it back in. You should get your drive letters back. Now just don't do that "safely remove" thing any more. :)
