That was the first thing I did.  I should have been more specific when I said "patched".

Both DLDI Patched/Upatched Fat and patched/unpacted PAFS all freeze on load or throw fat errors.  Someone sent me a working copy for their SCSD and it doesn't work on mine.  May be a unique error (the card I use may or may not be a pirate according to the place I ordered from, they sent another a couple days after I got the first one).

im using SC lite rumble, it freezes at the map selection , im using 0.4 beta latest? PAFS version, is there any fix to this? ty

Don't use the PAFS version.  Use the FAT version
