Just some simple predictions I would like to share here.
I think the Supercard team is simply waiting until Moonshell 1.6 is out until they update their firmware.
Just think about it. Makes a lot of sense to me.
y EQ:
-Superkey
-SC SD - 2gb Sandisk Ultra II
-SC Lite Rumble - 1gb Kingston (tw)
-SCone - 1gb Toshiba (jp)
-R4DS - 1gb Sandisk (cn)

Well, that would only make sense. Why update a firmware with a finalfinalsuperfinalbeta123 :)

But, if that IS the case (they hold off for *real finals*) you may be waiting a long long time before the NEXT firmware update.
Nintendo DSi
Nintendo Wii - cIOS38 Revision 12 (and more)
Madden PSP Slim v5.00 M33-6

Yeah, considering the changes they are rolling up for the 1.6 release. It will take a while... but imagine the possibilities! SC DS with integrated Moonshell 1.6 ... OPTIONS GALORE.

Now if only The dude writing Moonshell would do a img viewer integration into Moonshell (which it should of been in the first place). And somehow extend DSOrganize. Imagine that.

this is a from a post over at gbatemp about the new loader
which they say will be avalible at the end of the month
& they say golden finger is a cheat mode

Translation:

Allow Patches
Normal Reading -- Fast Reading
Storage: SD Card -- Storage: DS Card
Allow Resume
Allow Golden Finger

I'm assuming that allow patches will be "on the fly supermode" so that clean roms will have the extra features of patching without actually having to do it first. Hopefully the normal read/fast read will help slower microsd cards run problematic games. Hopefully the resume feature will be save states... and i'm not even gonna guess what the 'golden finger' is... But it sounds fun!

Oh wow, this is even a newer post than the one I found. Nice find op.

I think Gold Finger use to be a Game Shark type device for the PSX1.  So, maybe some kind of cheat device.

On the fly patching sounds sweet.
