Is it possible to to play backup copies of gamecube games on a wii?

I haven't played around with the AR for GameCube + SD to GC adapter, but I heard that you can run backups from that?

You have just conjured a question I will lose sleep over if I can't figure it out...

thanks, wondering if someone had cracked the Gamecube games to play straight to a Gamecube that was not modded (which would mean it would work on a Wii.

Apparently, the reason programs like GCOS don't workon the Wii is because it can't find the DVD drive. It's an interesting idea, but there's other stuff you'd have to pass too.
