SuperPass 2 will not boot

Ok this has been driving me mad all yesterday, I have searched here and all over the net for answers and tried many things but nothing seems to be working.

I'll try and explain this as good as I can, basically I got my items; superpass2 and supercard ds, im using SD cards 1gb Kingston and 128 fuji, Im using a normal NDS not lite, the serial on the back is NJH 10783590 if that helps.

Ok the problem is basically my superpass 2 will not boot up, it goes straight into the ds menu and says no ds cart is loaded.
The supercard does work and I got gba games working on that, now I tried the sram thing, my two Original games are sonicrush and RE:DS, now I used passkey v4 to find their codes and it said fine its done ok, I turn off the ds and back on and nothing happens.(with superpassngamein)

So I went and dl the actually SRAM files from another site, e.g for RE:DS its ABHP.gba and ABHP.sav, so yea I run those it says sram loaded ok. I turn my ds off and try and boot up but nothing again.

The same thing happens with my other game sonic, im using firmware 1.7 and  SuperCard v2.58 as my patcher.

I have no idea what i could be doing wrong like i said my gba games load and the save file for the ds games show while im in gba mode.

I mean if i do nothing and just stick my superpass2 in with Original game will something happen? like an error or something because when I try that it just carries on and says theirs no ds cart loaded.

If I could get the Superpass to boot somehow I think everything else would be ok, its just not loading.

anyone got any tips? I hope I explained that clear enough, if you need more input just ask.

thanks to anyone that can help.

If it's never worked previously, return it.  If it's worked for a little while, well... then you're just screwed aren't-cha.  I recommend getting an Ultra passcard.  Not "flashpass", which is a heaping load of crap, but the plain vanilla passcard.  Cheap and does the trick.

lol erm nice answer ok then if im screwed what passkey works well with supercard, the one you mentioned and any others?

A superpass2 has to be programmed for the specific game you're using as the original, unless its working in "passme1" mode which I belive is the default.

Try this firmware version test; if you have v4 or above you'll have to program the superpass2 for one of your specific originals with the printer port programmer that should have come with it

Once its programmed you still need to do the SRAM thing too though...
