question about playing DS roms with supercard

I  don't have a DS but I have an SP and I want to know if you play your DS roms on your supercard do you get as much slow down as the gba roms?
If the answer is: "No not as much slowdown" then can someone tell me why?
I would really like to know

there is no Slow donw on DS rom..  its is becouse the paches.. juts use the search some times!
