Moonshell v1.6 (stable) released

I downloaded finalfinalbetaone for its COMPLETE moonshll.ini file, and changed it to my liking, including dual screen text support.

I then downloaded the newest 1.6 stable version. I hit Setup.exe and got my R4/M3 Simply file and moonshl folder. I replaced the moonshll.ini in the moonshl folder with my custom moonshll.ini.

Finally, I booted up Moonshell to find out that.........there is no text support in 1.6 stable! When I go to the folder that has my text files, they are all hidden, and I can't select anything. However, I can see those text files using DSOrganize. I even checked the text files properties, and they are NOT hidden.

Do I need to add a text plugin?

This is so freaking frustrating! All I want to do is veiw text files across two screens using Moonshell!

They all work fine for me? Try deleting all of it and reinstalling. For some reason if they are hidden files go to your user settings or "customize" and make sure there arent any files

is it an old .ini?

if so, remodify the new one

This is almost universally an improvement upon 1.5 - however, the start folder option's gone, replaced by a new resume function, which I don't prefer. And I find the new skin a bit iffy and I'll be sure to replace it with something a lot cleaner, brighter and slicker.

Whenever I try to run a video (.dpg), it just freezes on me and doesn't load. What could be wrong? I'm using G6 Lite.

I also can't run my roms through Moonshell. If I click A on one of the .nds files, it says something like "no adapter?" This doesn't really concern me, however, I'm more interested in getting the videos working.

What program are you using to make .dpg movie files?

I used the tool that came with the Moonshell v1.6 download and I also tried BatchDPG (with Avisynth 2.5).

Have you checked out the settings to get the best results with videos on the moonshell tutorial? Also you may want to adjust the settings in moonshl.ini (formerly global.ini) see tutorial. Sorry i do not own a g6 lite.

Also I do not think you can run commercial roms thru moonshell.

moonshell doesn't support dsq files. Somebody should write a plugin. It would be extreemly nice.

I have a question, is it normal that about half of my MP3's won't work(or play at 1/4 speed)? I ask because I can't seem to find any DS MP3 player that actually works with a reasonable amount of my songs and I can't find out why they don't either. I know for sure it isn't the bitrate so I'm trying to find some way to get them to play, but don't want to re-encode my library just to find it doesn't work.
