I have a SC mini SD that has started behaving oddly.

Haven't flashed it in a while but it fails to load up most games now, it will however play and run small homebrew like 'rubber bands'

Wondering whether it is something wrong with contacts or perhaps something more terminal is happening?

If only commercial games don't work than maybe it's something with the patching software. Are you sure you've got compatible firmware and patcher?

Chiliblue

Well the cart is flashed with 1.63 and was working fine until recently with games I have patched.

So it isn't the patcher or the roms

thanks

Does it fully load the game and then hangs, or does it stop in the middle of loading? How about GBA games and big DS homebrew (e.g. http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?p=54691#54691 - TickleGirl, 12 MB). And is there a specific limit, above which games won't load?

Chiliblue

Actually managed to solve it, I reflashed it with 1.70 a clean copy I downloaded fresh.

Not entirely sure how the firmware got corrupted or why it behaved like it did, but it is loading things fine now.
