Anyone know how to delay the DSOne screensaver in the GUI?  It pops up in like 2 seconds!  I looked thru the global.ini but I didn't see anything for the screensaver time.  I'm using version 1229.

Thanx in advance

Here you go, it is listed in the 5th post on this thread SCDS1 settings, small collection of.

i realized that it could even tell the tempreature.

@ onekelly:  Man I searched this forum and others like crazy & couldn't find it.

Thanx   :D

EDIT:  I looked at that thread & it tells you how to remove the clock.  Not how to delay the time it takes for it to appear.

I think this is what you are looking for, (i don't have my ds in front of me to check though)

[ImagePlugin]

; 10.1 GUITimeOutSec = [N] (Default = 2)

; When a specified time in seconds have elapsed the scroll bar and the title bar
; will disappear from image window.
; N = Any number in seconds

; ‰æ‘"•\Ž¦ŽžAŽw’è•b”'o‰ß‚·‚邯'X'N'['‹'o[‚Æ'^'C'g'‹'o[‚ðÁ‹Ž‚µ‚Ü‚·B

GUITimeOutSec=2 <---Change this to 10 (or whatever you like)

That is under the [ImagePlugin] section & I think that is only used for when you are viewing photos on the DS.  It moves the scroll & titlebar out of the way in the specified amount of time so you can see the complete picture.  I tried that before asking in here & it didn't affect the clock/screensaver.  Thanks anyway though.

No problem, sorry wrong help. I went to check it and my microsd card is not in my sclite at the moment ( :cry: hopefully I left it in the card reader and not on the floor, housekeeper comes today and i am at work! :cry: )

EDIT: My daughter said the card was in the card reader, not on the floor!  :D

sneef

you have a housekeeper? *napoleon dynamite voice* lucky!  ;)

onekelly

LOL! I totally here that in my head (amongst many other voices...*look behind me and say* shut up!)

So anyone figure out the anwer to this thread yet?

Here is how you stop that clock:

[BacklightTimeout]

; Specified number. (unit of sec)
; Anything turns off the backlight when there is no key input.
; WhenStandby=FileClosed WhenPicture=BMP/Jpeg etc. WhenText=Text WhenSound=NSF/MP3 etc.
; 指定秒数キー入力がないときにバックライトを消灯します。時計プラグインがあるときは時計を表示します。

WhenStandby=10
WhenPicture=15
WhenText=30
WhenSound=10

Change all four values to 0. This stops the backlight timeout (or clock when that is enabled). Backlight will stay on, but I actually prefer that instead of any time out.
