When I put the SCminiSD in self-test mode, everything says it's OK, but on the flashcard test, it says it's OK there too, but then it also says, "did not find test file".

What is this "test file" and how do I use it?  I'm assuming it's just a file that gets puts in the root of the flashcard, right?  But what file?
Current setup:
Onyx DSlite/R4DS/SCminiSD
2gig Transcend card for the SCminiSD
2gig Kingston for the R4DS
4 gigglingbytes of games/apps! WOOT!

I went through a firmware dump once to find this out but then lost interest.

The file is something like test.sct or testfile.sct If anyones bored create a file called that and run the test see what happens...

So there is no "test file" officially in existence? So basically, I shouldn't worry about it, eh?

I wonder what it makes the SC do.....what it says....or if it makes any adjustments to the card based on the results of the test.

Try creating a blank text file with the same name and see what happens.....

OK....I created 2 files...."testfile.sct" and "test.sct" and put them at the root of the flash.  I have determined that"test.sct" is the file it's looking for.

When I run the self-test, it says "error code:06" instead of getting an ok with "not find test file" written under it.

I imagine there is supposed to actually be something IN the file for it to work?

What is error code 6?
