Tetris attack should work at full speed, I haven't tried it yet though.

Tetris Attack "works", yes.  I just tested it myself today.  You must first use uCON64 with the -k option in order to remove the copy protection in order for it to boot.  Then turn off BG2 in order to see the playing field better.  It runs at about 75% speed with sound, and it has this issue where instead of the cursor+blocks slowly rising up, only the cursor actually rises.  At one point, you will be flipping tiles nearly one full row beneath the cursor.  Once the new row actually becomes part of the playing field, everything will snap back to normal.  This also occurs in SNES Advance, SNES DS, Snezziboy, and SnezziDS, so it's not specific to SNEmulDS.  It's due to a feature that the DS can't easily implement without changing the entire emulator core to use the 3D system of the DS, which would slow things down even more.

My recommendations:
Acrobat Mission runs at 100% speed although sound appears to be absent for some reason.
Aero Fighters has noticeable slowdown, but this makes a difficult game easier, so it might be for the best.
Mega Man 7 works but you can't see your weapons in the Start menu.
Super Bomberman works pretty well, as does Super Mario World.
Zelda: A Link To The Past works very well at a reasonable speed.

Also see http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/SNEmulDS_Compatibility_List for a somewhat out-of-date list of playable games.
