i know we can play this on GBA and on emulators.. but its nice to play with classic controller in 480p :)

P.S. Mario Kart 64 is coming soon to VC!

Zero

Awesome!  I didn't even know they released this!  Can't wait to get it tonight.

The Classic controller is one of the best reasons to buy VC games.

Gleasonator

It's 800 points like usual, isn't it? Damn... I have 500.

Do you think that Game Boy and Game Boy Color games will ever be released on the VC? I'd love to play Oracle of Seasons on the Wii.

Probably not.  I don't think Nintendo wants people to buy portable games on the Wii when they'd rather have them buy a GBA SP.

DeVS

Nintendo stated this upcoming holiday season (2007) would be the last for the GBA. I definatly see GBA games hitting VC, but not this year.

I'm not so sure we'll see GBA games on Wii... But it will definitely be an option for future systems (you can be sure that nintendo will continue to cash in on virtual console for the next next generation). I do believe we'll start seeing early classic GB games and possibly up to GBC before the end of the Wii simply because it'd be cheap to do, and they'd make easy money.

There is literally no reason not to. Most old school GB games have been out of production for 7+ years at least. Nintendo doesn't make any money on the sale of 2nd hand games, and for literally less then a penny in bandwidth they could easily make $2-3 dollars a pop on classic GB games. If they made it $2, it'd be the perfect way to cash in on people who've just put up $10 in wii points and only bought 1 SNES game. They'll have just enough left for a GB game and everyone will be happy.
