what device are you you using?

If it is supercard SD, miniSD, or microSD, you should look at the Downloads section of this page... though 2.58 is the latest patcher (if it isnt there, click on the mirror to go to ratx's site and it should be there.)

if its Supercard DS, i really dont know... i guess you just get the patcher and patch it like you would a supercard slot 2device?

anyways, Patcher is a software that will modify a clean rom in order for it to work on the bootleg devices.

Clean rom + Patcher -> patched rom for you to put on your removable device and plug into slot 1 or 2 device.

If you bought an M3 Simply or R4, or DS Xtreme, or whatever. you probably wont need to patch the rom at all, (though trimming it is recommended) and just plug and play!

i have an sc ds
and when i try to "patch" the games or whatever
the files come out to be "DQZ" or something like that
and they're 0KB
i don't understand what that does
but i can't get certain games to work

Only use the SC DS patcher for the SC DS, and in most cases you won't even need it. Just make sure your SC DS has the latest firmware and then put the clean roms on the card.
