Hi

My computer (in my room) can connect to the internet through my network adapter.

But... my nds can't. So if I want to play wifi I have to go downstars.

Would it be possible for my nds to connect to my wifi router THROUGH my internet adapter?

No, your DS can't connect through the PCI wireless adapter being used by the upstairs PC. You could add a cheap wireless USB/PCI adapter to the upstairs PC as long as it's compatible with a program called SoftAP.

Hi

Could you explain that more clearly. I'm a total idiot when it comes to internet connections and stuff like that. (I was one of the last people to stop using dialup, have only been using high speed for maybe 6 months.)

edit: After reading it several times I think I'm starting to get it. Are you saying that I need two network adapters?

Hi

Well, I DO have a gift card for gamestop...

edit: WHAT??? THERE CHARGING ME $40 FOR A STUPID LITTLE THING THAT WILL GIVE ME BETTER RANGE. FORGET IT!

I start with nothing, I end with nothing. Oh well...

Hmmm. In that case I recommend you simply add a Nintendo USB wireless adapter to the upstairs PC, or install a long range wireless router downstairs.

Yes.

Hi

Perfect! I've got an adapter that the downstairs computer uses. But nobody uses the downstairs computer, so I can "borrow" it for just about as long as I want!

Thanks bitbit.

So you mean Hi that you've never played online with your DS?
DS Lite Onyx Black
Supercard Lite
Nintendo Wii (US)
PSP (Metal Gear PO Limited Edition)

Dudu.exe

the adaptor must support INFRASTRUCTURE Mode .. if dont.. it wont work on Nintendo DS!

Hi

Of course I've played online. But you see, I can't play in my bed (my favorate place to play) I have to go downstairs to play wifi. But yes, of course I've been online.
