Tried the 0837 Underground Pool rom on the M3 simply 2 white screens
Tried the same rom on SC lite played fine.

Do the M3 patch the roms directley off the card as I ran the homebrew ROMTester 1.2 and it says the M3 do`s not run clean roms.

There is some sort of "on the fly" patching that takes place in the M3 and R4. That's why games are able to save directly to the TF/MSD card in them.

so in theory a games company could place code in a game that would detect how these cards patch and render them useless untill an updated patch file came out. oh well I`m glad I kept my supercard lite aswell at least the patcher has a chance of working

But honestly, why would they waste the time of doing that?  They know that their game will be pirated sooner or later.  Why hire some pro to program this code when it'll be cracked in a week max.
