is it possible? i can't seem to make my SCSD save files work on my SCDS. They're the right size, name, extension, etc. but as soon as I start the game, it erases my save file and makes a new one. Why is this happening?

If I remember correctly, the SCDS uses 512k save files, and the SCSD uses 256k saves. In theory, they'd work fine if you padded them out to 512k.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

i moved all my save over to my SCDS1 from my SCSD Rumble you just have to remember to rename them properly
i forgot to remove the .nds (Final Fantasy III (US)Psyfer.nds.sav)
it took 10 mins until i realised but after that everything went fine

Well, I was trying to move Yoshi's Island over to my SCDS1 from my SCCF.  I tried removing .nds from the .sav file.  It did not work.  It wasn't until I changed the name to YOSHII~1.SAV did it work.  My ROM is named Yoshi Island DS.nds.  So why do I have to go to 8.3 DOS naming to do this?  I guessed the name based on the way other .sav files are automatically created.

yeah scds1 has some strange issues about filenames.
can't recommend anything but backup, trial and error.
ds | ds lite] + flashme + [supercard sd | supercard ds one (toshiba sd-c512)]

i have a supercard minSD and i was able to transfer my save to my new SCDS1 by changing the file name.

DirtyH

i observed another strange behaviour.

the filedates of my saves is in the future
something like 2051,2061,2062,...

still works, but is strange... ;)
