How to save in gba rom.

I've tried the R + L + A + Select save, but then it when i choose save, it just says 'please' wait at the top screen, and then doesnt change or resume the game. I've tried it on Mega Man Zero 2, any help? thanks

Re-patch the rom with no extra settings enabled and see if that works.

Setup: Onyx DS Lite, CycloDS + Kingston 8GB MicroSDHC; Camo GBA Micro, EZIV + Kingston 2GB MicroSD
