this utility supposedly is able to save gba saves from the original cartridge, but whenever i reinsert the supercard, it resets.

I have been trying to accomplish this for a few days now. but its not working. is there a way to bypass reset?

i dont want to buy a linker.

Like I said earlier, I managed it by pressing the right side in first and going slowly.  It doesn't work all the time though.

It happens on my GBA as well, so I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to do with FlashMe or anything.  I wonder if older Supercards exhibit this behavior as well.

hm.. well its not going to work then. I give up.

the cf probably does not.

I tried and tried too, but no luck.  My M3 slim sd reinserts without resetting the ds or dslite.  But for some reason it says  choose directory, and it is a black screen and then it says push A to choose a different directory or press B to write save.
So I press B to write save , but then there is no new file on my sd card.  And if I try to run my M3 with that sd card right after the cart save program writes the save it says the sd card is an unreadable format.  But once I load it up onto my computer and then reinsert it into M3 it works fine without reformatting.  But no save file is on the save file.
Does any who has used this know if you have to provide a blank sav file for it to write the sav to, and if so what type and size should I use.  I am trying to back-up mario pinball gamecart save.

That only works on supercard CF as far as I know.

It was redone to work on dldi compatable devices

"This is a GBA program designed for use with a DLDI compatible cart. It allows you to backup game saves from your original cartridges onto a flash memory card. You can then copy them to your computer and restore them at a later date. To use it, put the file onto your compact flash card and run it using the Game option in your cart's menu. It will then tell you what to do next."

I should probably mention that the one time I was able to reinsert my Supercard, the .sav file was written correctly, and VBA picked it up without any problems.  I chose a subdirectory, not the root of the card.
