I'm currently using moonshell ver 1.6, how can i play mp3 and read my e-books at the same time? I cant seem to do that...  :?

It isn't possible in Moonshell, though it has been brought up before on GBAdev.  

You could boot DSLinux and use Madplay for your mp3s while using Vi for your ebooks in another virtual console, but that would really only work if you had a slot-2 card with RAM, and it's not that enjoyable anyway.
