Ok after weeks of savin up money I am now on the way to getting my m3 lite perfect.
the question is now do I need a passcard if I have supercard ds one?
And can I boot in to slot 2 gba mode through the ndslite boot up screen without passcard?(Because I heard that passcard is only for nds games)

And if anyone has a m3lite perfect and a supercard dsone can you comfirm if scds does boot up m3lite perfect through its superkey function
(many ppl say it shud but no one did comfirm it)

Most people say yes.

On SCDS  go to  other--->boot slot2

No you do not need a passcard if you have SCDS1, it is built into it.

If you remove the SCDS1 (or similar) and your DSlite is not flashed you will get the normal ds menu.

I think you meant to say the SCDS1 (or similar) is for DS games only. The Passcards allow you to boot to the slot 2 and bypass the slot 1(which you need if you are using a slot 2 device like the sclite or similar).

The SCDS1 can effectively boot ANY slot 2 device with the use of the built in Superkey function. In fact I have actually put the passcard.nds (not the one built into the SCDS1) file in the root directory and booted to the slot 2) where i have a sclite, just to see if a dl'd image of the superkey would work, it does.

If you use a MK4 dump you can boot to slot 2 from slot 1 and you can boot back to slot 1 from slot 2.  But you will need the Mk4 dump on each cart.

tuta

so where can I get these dumps(Legal?)?
Maybe a step by step guide for a newbie?

felix

You don't need a MK4 dump anyway because SCDS has a built in NoPass. Ask your lawyer for legal questions.;)
