Good for you   :)
Are you using the USB MicroSD card reader and if so has it ASPLODED yet?

The USB MicroSD card reader works like a charm :D

I also got an R4 recently, to accompany my Supercard SD. A couple comments:

1. I prefer using Moonshell on the SCSD, as it used the Supercard's RAM for buffering. When I'm adjusting the internal volume while playing mp3s on the R4, the audio skips; not so on the SCSD.
2. The DS Browser hack to use the Supercard as the memory expansion works like a charm. The speed is comparable to the official RAM pak.
3. I'm not using the included microSD reader, because I already have a normal SD reader I take with me to school, so I just use the TF to SD adapter.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

Odd, I've never had any problem with audio skipping when using moonshell when I adust audio. Maybe it's the fact that I use OGGs instead of MP3's. (OGGs have better compression)

Better compression would cause the decoder to skip more.
Setup: Onyx DS Lite, CycloDS + Kingston 8GB MicroSDHC; Camo GBA Micro, EZIV + Kingston 2GB MicroSD

that only applies if it uses a crappy algorithm

Again, I haven't had a single problem with OGGs, I was only mentioning that I use OGGs for better compression because they do compress quite a bit better while remaining the same sound quality.

I haven't tried any straight MP3's to see if I have the same problem with my R4... I guess I could in a little bit just to see if it's only that person.
