So, i've been loving my ds for a while. I have a SuperCard miniSD with a Superkey and its been working great. I lend it to my friend, and he said the ds was acting weird. When he turned it on, it would sometimes freeze on the DS Warning logo, or would get into SuperCard main screen, but show up there with weird charactors, almost looking like hiragana, but it was all garbled. So I thought maybe it was a firmware issue. Updated the firmware, and when the firmware finished installing, I got two white screens. Now whenever I turn on my DS with the Supercard inside it, I'm stuck with two white screens.

The DS turns on fine without the Superkey/Supercard inside it, so i'm guessing my SuperCard has a corrupt firmware, or something f'd up on it.

Weird thing was, it seemed to run depending on the memory card. With a fresh clean memory card removed of my old saves/games, it would run new games I tossed on it, but sometime go back to whigging out after a single save.

Right now my Supercard gets the two white screens without the memory card in it, so i'm presuming the memory card is no longer something that could have caused the issue.

Is there anything I can do to salvage my supercard, or is it FUBARed?

Flash the card's firmware in GBA mode.  DO NOT use DS mode (Superkey) when flashing it.  

If you changed firmware versions, you may have to re-patch all of your games to work with the new firmware. But I'm not 100% sure about that.

Garbled graphics and white screens can also result if the DS is getting a bad connection to the card.  My simple fix has always been to plug and unplug the cart a few times to clean the contacts.....always works for me.

i believe you can still use your previous patcher roms... i did... heh roms for 1.63 for 1.7

It seems like the Supercard is no longer accessible. When I boot the ds without the SuperKey, it shows nothing in the GBA slot.
