Ok after almost a year I think my SC CF finally chose to brick me.  Although I don't actually know what it means to be bricked

I used a superpass2 and a Supercard CF on my DS firmware version 3

At the moment the DS is now no longer turning on and even plugging in the AC adaptor shows no lights or anything.  Buying a new battery has also yielded no results

I also noticed on my GBA and SP the same behaviour when the Supercard is inserted but they were ok when it was removed again.

The CF card is fine as it is now being used on my GBA movie player

Ok now I have just bought another DS, version 2 but I'm wondering wether there is a chance I can use my supercard again without bricking it, or should I just buy a new supercard?

thanks for any help

I would just buy a new SuperCard.
SuperCard is cheap(ish), DS is expensive!

you have maybe bent a pin in your SCCF which could have shorted out the internal fuse on your DS

so check theres no bent pins in your SCCF before you use it on your new DS

Ok I'm not one for opening up a Supercard and fiddling about so I'l just buy a new one

edit: ok I see none of the UK suppliers sell Supercard CF anymore, its all one-slot and SD now

My Superpass2 still works so what would you advise I go for?

I use it to mainly play games both gba, DS and emulated plus the occasional video and I don't have an SD card so I would also need to buy one

I'm mainly after stability and compatibility at least on par with my previous SC CF
